Using Blackjack Strategy Cards To Win

No Comments 24 August 2009

Mathematicians have developed a Blackjack strategy that is based on millions of Blackjack hands. This strategy can be learned from quick reference cards and is especially designed to give you a better chance of beating the casino at Blackjack. This basic strategy allows the player to split their first 2 cards, double their stake and choose when to go for another card. These are all advantages to help towards success. It also increases the amount won for the player while leaving the casino with even money.

Three things to remember with this statistical strategy is to stand on 17 or more, whilst hitting on less than 8 and when the dealer has higher than 7 you should hit on 12-16. There is also an option for the player of this strategy to double their bet after they have seen the first two cards. Doubling down is also advised, you should double down on 11, and on 10 when the dealer has 9 or less, and on 9 when the dealer has 6 or less. It sounds a little complicated to a novice but if you know your game of Blackjack it will be easy to digest.

If a Blackjack player receives 2 cards of the same values he may split them and make 2 hands at the same time as doubling his stake. Using the strategy cards will help you make the best possible choices for an optimum chance of a winning hand. Try using Blackjack strategy cards to win at the game of Blackjack next time you play.

Poker Opponents Revealed

No Comments 06 August 2009

If you seek to be a great Poker player then the best thing to learn is how to read your opponents to guess the hand they may have. This will give you an enormous advantage over other players. Remember though that just as you are trying to read them they will be attempting to do exactly the same with you. If you have a logical mind then you will be able to read your opponent at every round. You will learn their responses before and after they decide to raise, fold or call.

It is good advice to scrutinize the way your opposing players are playing. You will soon realise if they are playing safe or aggressively and you will notice their preferences for certain types of cards.  Aggressive players are sometimes harder to read as you can never be quite sure they will do what you think they will do. Passive players can sometimes have an excellent hand and you will not realise it.

Bluffing is part of revealing other Poker players and some players are very good at it. If a player raises you then you should remember the hand they raised and their position.

There are plenty of things you can try to reveal your Poker opponents intentions and you will improve on this technique the more you play. The more you know about your fellow players the easier it will be to beat them at Poker and this is the best tip for all players. If your Poker opponents are revealed then your game becomes less difficult.

Bluffing In Poker

No Comments 25 June 2009

Bluffing is a well known tactic that is often used in the game of Poker and it takes place in even the biggest Poker games. If a player decides he has a weak hand he may bluff that he has a much stronger hand and this can sometimes force another player with a better hand to fold. You need to be aware when playing Poker that some players will be bluffing about their hand and you need to take this in to account.

To be good at bluffing you need to have keep calm emotionally and try and hide any clues that you have anything other than a strong hand. You need to keep the same expressions and routines no matter what kind of hand you are dealt. If you act in this way it will be very difficult for other players to predict if you are bluffing or not. As you are playing you can also monitor your other opponents behaviour patterns. You can see how they respond to certain hands and sometimes guess how they may play in certain situations. The art of bluffing can be a very useful advantage in this game if you can perfect it.

Your fellow players do give away little signs if you watch out for them, but so do you. Bluffing adds to the confusion and weakens concentration of other players if it is done right. Practice it next time you play and see if it can make a difference to your game, but remember bluffing does not always work and some players will ‘call your bluff’ if they are not convinced enough.
